INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES

Due to the modification regarding the «Information Society Services Act» (LSSICE) established by the Royal Decree 13/2012, taking effect, it is compulsory to obtain the express consent of the user on all web pages that use expendable cookies, before the user browses them.

 

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies and other similar technologies such as shared objects, flash cookies, or pixels, are tools that are used by Web servers to store and recuperate information concerning the visitors the pages receive, as well as helping to operate the site in a correct fashion.

  • Technical and functional cookies: those cookies that permit the user to browse through a web page, platform, or application, and the use of different options or services that are available on said pages.
  • Analytical cookies: those cookies that permit the party responsible for them to follow and analyse the behaviour of the users who browse the web pages to which they are linked.   • Behavioural advertising cookies: these are cookies that gather information on personal preferences and choices of the user (retargeting) so as to permit managing, in the most efficient way possible, the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the editor has included in a web page, application, or platform from where they provide the requested service.
  • Social cookies: those cookies that are established by social network platform for services that allow the user to share content with friends and other networks. Social media platforms have the capacity to track and trace users’ activity online outwith the Services. This may affect the content and the messages that the user sees on other services that they visit.
  • Affiliate cookies: these cookies permit the following and tracking of visits coming from other web pages, with which the website establishes an affiliation contract (affiliation companies).
  • Safety cookies: these cookies store encrypted information to avoid the data that is stored on them becoming vulnerable to malicious third-party attacks.

ACCORDING TO PROPERTY

  • Proprietary cookies: cookies that are sent to the terminal equipment of the user from a machine or domain managed by the editor and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: cookies that are sent to the terminal equipment from a machine or domain that are not managed by the editor, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

ACCORDING TO THE STORAGE PERIOD

  • Session cookies: these are the type of cookies that gather and store data while the user accesses a web page.
  • Persistent cookies: these are a type of cookies where the data is stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period that is defined by whoever is responsible for the cookie, and which can last from several minutes to various years.

  5. Select Delete Files.
  6. Select Delete Cookies.

Next to «Details», click on the arrow pointing downwards.
Select the following checkboxes: Cookies, Cache, Active Sessions Logins
